I will never believe that Chelsea just suddenly turned up. What I believe is that Chelsea contacted Yossi months before he moved to them and he made it clear that he would join them and no one else.

Did Rafa find out about it? Probably. Then the pack your bags comment would fit in what really happened. The manager finding out that a player negotiated a move behind his back. Then it would also fit in with that Purslow decided to sell Yossi to Chelsea and didn't invite a better offer.
Well i for one certainly did'nt.

Not sure about the rest like. But Yossi imo knew he was off to Chelsea before his club did. imo.

And while i'm at it, i doubt any manger could have been successful during those final couple of seaosons of Rafa's reign, the back stabbing and agenda driven decisions being made by those at the top would have undermined any manager.

Rafa returns! Benitez eyes Premier League clubs after failed spell at Inter Milan

Rafael Benitez will target a job with a Barclays Premier League club if and when he returns to football management.

The former Liverpool and Inter Milan boss has had offers of employment since his six-month stay in Serie A ended just before Christmas, but none has yet tempted him back.

Asked about his future on BBC Radio Five Live's Sportsweek programme, the 50-year-old Spaniard said: 'The priority is the Premier League, because the style is better for me.'

He will not rush into a new job, though, because he knows he has to choose wisely.

'You can't say we will build something and spend three, four or five years waiting for trophies,' he said.

'You have to find the right balance, a club that can win or try to win right now but at the same time prepare for the future.

'At this moment in time I don't have any offer. Before I did, but now I don't have any offers. I have had some offers abroad and some national teams, but I needed to stay with the family ... relax a little bit and be ready for the next challenge.'

Three possible options then if he want to have the chance to win straight away.

        Chelsea, Tottenham and Man C.

I have ruled us out because of two very well known reasons.

Henry and Werner want someone far better? I agree.

                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
