Thanjk you.

Yeah like I said he has his faults and criticism is fine, but there is a small minority of Reds who are all too quick to slag him off, question whether his feelings for us are genuine etc, and some even openly dislike the guy.
The only reason people want him to return is becasue they are sentimanetal towards him plus he made himself out to be one of us, carries alot of power that, but Rafa is a clever guy I'm sure he knew exactly what he was doing
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
Rafa gave me the best memories in the last 20 years. I miss him.
Rafa.
I was quite young still when we won our last championship, well 16. I still remember very well the all conquering side of 1987/88 when I was 14. But as a full member of the grown up club, he brought me my best moments in my time as a supporter, with Istanbul. That was the best moments I've had ever, on a par with my wedding.
I class him on the same pedestal as Shanks, Bob, Joe & Kenny. He's a Liverpool legend, period.
rafa has taken a lot of criticism and carried the can for things beyond his control during his tenure.
im gutted at the way his tenure panned out as if he'd have been backed to get the players he actually wanted through the door then im sure he'd have brought us no 19. absolutely sure of it. instead the man was hounded out of a job that he did brilliantly at a club and city he truly loves. gutted
Need to get this off my chest but didn't want to pollute the Hillsborough thread with this.
I hope those minority of 'Reds' who take every opportunity to give the man a kicking and slag him off...I hope they feel ****ing great today. Cunts. Rafa had his faults, like everybody else, but you cannot question what he did for us on and off the pitch and that he is truly one of us.
Some 'Reds' even claimed his love for LFC and the city was fake. "PR" and "platitudes".
Yeah, right.
I suppose they were crocodile tears yesterday.
A European Cup winning manager on the pitch and an absolute gentleman and die hard Red off it = LFC legend.

I don't think we can, or should underestimate Montse Benitez's contribution and role in rooting the Benitez clan in Liverpool. She is a legend.
Aye, behind every great man there is a nagging woman driving him on, making work a pleasure.
But seriously, they are a great team, and she has been totally behind her man all the way, and she has in her own right become a well liked figure on merseyside from what i've heard, really taken the community to heart and worked on it's behalf, and it's obvious she very much loves Liverpool the club as well as the city.
