FA allow Inter Milan chance to woo England boss Fabio Capello
Fabio Capello will be at the Club World Cup next week amid growing speculation that Inter Milan are preparing to lure him away from England.
The Football Association insist they have no issue with their manager going to Abu Dhabi, even if there will be no opportunities to watch English players.
He will be there as a guest of FIFA and not Inter owner Massimo Moratti.
Moratti could soon be looking for a new manager, such is his impatience with former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez.
But right now Luciano Spalletti, who has just won the Russian title with Zenit St Petersburg, is considered the favourite should Benitez be sacked.
Italian sports daily Corriere dello Sport have said Inter officials were looking closely at Capello's contract. An approach from the Italian side might suit England well because it would mean they would not have to pay £6million compensation if they sacked him. Instead they could even be compensated by Inter.
crunch time for Rafa tonight against Seongnam Ilhwa, knowing his job rest on the match I guess we will see the strongest lineup of a european team in the WCC so far.
A team from Congo TP Mazembe went through to the final, so on paper Rafa have a good chance of winning the tournament. It is a bit strange that a tournament not normally of any particular value all of sudden has an edge to it, hope Inter win tonight for the sake of Rafa (and only for his sake, not a big fan of the club)

If they can't beat this team i'll be beyond shocked. Although the world club cup is kind of random, its still another trophy, and i'm sure the Inter fans and Moratti expect to win this one, a loss as you said could mean curtains.
The league is most important though, Inter are playing Napoli next game at start of January, IMO its a must win or Rafa will get the boot, they could potentially be 16 points behind Milan if they lose which is incredible.

I think that he will be sacked before then even if they win the WCC.

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a
Inter's opponents today - Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma - are South Korean. A team from the Congo are in the final having beaten the Brazilian champs in the other semi.
