But that's fine - they *do* wave plastic flags. That quote is nothing IMO. The other one is damaging to him and makes him look a cunt. But it's made up, designed to twist the knife. And so many people are that desperate to make a cunt of Benitez that they run with it without checking its veracity - and I include pretty much every national newspaper in that.

Why would you feel petty about it. He's not our manager, he hasn't been for over 2 years, he is now managing a proper shower of cunts, I see no problem with wanting him to bomb in his latest job. We owe him nothing, just as he owes us nothing.

It may be the truth, but it will still make him a cunt in the fans eyes imo.

Then we have to see how he answers questions about what he said about Chelsea fans, as you say it's a true quote based on fact, will he stand by those words ? and if he doesn't, starts saying things like all fans are the same, no club has better fans, blah blah, will that make him a cunt ?

It's going to get messy imo.
