It annoys me that he has absolutely no chance of being our next manager.

You'd think FSG would dig him. As said on TAW yesterday, the perfect example of Moneyball is buying Torres for £20m and selling him for £50m.

Buying Alonso for £10m, selling for £30m.

We unquestionably overachieved with him at the helm. There's no chance of attracting anyone else of his calibre or with a recent record of winning big things. And not only that he wouldn't cost a penny in compensation or anything.

Yet it appears there's absolutely no chance.

      He's got to come back.

It makes perfect ****ing sense and it's staring at us all right in the face. It's a farce.

Has he forgotten the players and manager he won the ****in European Cup with??? So it's better for LFC that his wife can listen to and understand whatever Andy ****in Carroll's girlfriend is talking about? What bollox.
He's always had a bit of a parochial attitude I suspect. It always reminds me of the talk when Rafa arrived that he had to break up the existing cliques as a priority (leading to the sale of Murphy for example).

We are reaching a point when that could find that it is better off getting the likes of Carragher out of the squad not on ability but in order to get a fresh feeling around the squad. Part of me does worry that Kenny buys into that sort attitude a little too much.

Yep, he's there ideal candidate on paper, but it definitely won't happen.

It would also be a very easy sell in PR terms for Kenny to step aside becasue he felt Rafa was wrongly sacked and deserved his job back.

The thing is that it might well mean kicking out Gerrard and Carragher and with them some of the brand they bought into. I don't think we have any real knowledge of what they think and at the minute they should IMO be keeping their powder dry in terms of looking for replacements for Kenny.

So, what if he comes back and this time next year we are still struggling for top 4 spot whilst he 'rebuilds'? Will we afford him the patience...I am not sure we will. What then?

Such a difficult situation. I have absolutely no idea which way we should go.

Not as good as Mourinho though.

                            Love Chris.

One is very attainable, the other is the managerial equivalent of trying to sign Messi.

                              And Chris hates Mourinho.
