He's turned down quite a few over the years including a similar role with the chavs last year. He clearly was hoping we'd come up again, we did and overlooked him so he's getting on with his career, with whatever club offers him the best chance of winning things.

I really like the guy but I really hope he bombs there. They are a shower of cunts and they don't deserve him or any trophies he would surely bring.

I just hope going where he isn't wanted doesn't turn out to be career suicide.
