And Motta too but I see a sense of frustration growing amongst the Inter fans esp with their League form and all the draws they had in the League so far

It would be foolish to write off a Rafa team in November I think. They're only getting started

Of course. He's just taken over and ripped off the system Mourihno implemented. There'll be a few hiccups along the way but he'll get it right.

          Brilliant.
I would agree, winning on penalties does require some luck..

Obviously fluked our way past Juventus and Chelsea, amongst others, in the run to the CL final and also miraculously fluked our way past Man United, Chelsea and others in the FA Cup run! Miraculous!

Don't you know shaggy everything LFC has won in our history is nothing but lucky after all football didn't exist until 1992!

Apparently Cascarino had a dig at him (another one). Said that he 'sabotaged' our season last year.

I'll ignore that first paragraph. Hicks & Gillett may have been disastrous owners but they will never be a valid excuse for Paul Konchesky. Or Roy Hodgson

Huh? What facts? You were talking about Inter:

From greatness to just very good is a big fall that Inter fans will have to get used to.
Totally premature. Rafa could win a double in Italy and he'd rightly be another Inter hero. You have no idea how this will pan out yet you're telling Inter fans to get used to a big fall.

As with most post-Mourinho sides Rafa has inherited a seriously ageing squad.

Am i right in saying Inter didnt spend at all in the last transfer window? Rafa's wisely introduced a few younger players such as Coutinho, Biabiany and Nwanko etc but Inter will need rebuilding in the next few years. If Moratti has stopped splashing the cash then it could be a very difficult job.

Anyhow I only expect Rafa to be there for a season or two regardless of his success.

I think Inter will win Serie A but they stumbled over the line last year and i expect AC Milan and a rejuvenated Juventus to push them harder this year.

Unless Rafa wins the treble (and with more style) then he's always going to be compared unfavourably to Mourinho. If he doesnt win anything he'll be absolutely crucified in the press.

And Roy could help us finish this season in a CL spot. You have no idea how it will pan out, etc.

See this make believe game is quite easy.

But he's got a core of fans who know his worth in here, whatever happens.

I presume CL means Career low? thats the only CL we will have under Roy sending us out to get dry bummed every week.

That was a bit weird. Seeing those spurs fans celebrating the 3rd goal so wildly reminded me of special CL nights in recent years where I celebrated like that. So it was very weird seeing Rafa on the receiving end this time

It was quite evocative of some of the high-tempo beatings we handed out to some of Europe's top sides. Depressing.
