I just read the following post about Rafa on RAOTL by a poster who goes under the psedonym Monkee.

I USED to go to the game to watch a team who were the living breathing heartbeat of half of the city. The other half went to theirs, because, Red or Blue, all you HAD was the footy. They were the one bright spot in a city that was being battered by all sides, when to be a Scouser was to wear a badge of shame, was the way those fellas came out evvery Saturday and fought like **** for (mostly) men who refused to ****ing lie down and die.

It isn't ****ing Uber to want a team that does that again. It isn't uber to expect a level of honesty from the staff and players at LFC. And it certainly isn't ****ing Uber to want a man who has fought tooth and nail against his OWN CLUBS OWNERS on behalf of those who passed through the gate, to be able to have a fair ****ing opportunity to get his side of the story out.

Bell ends in the Media hated Benitez because he wouldn't play their game. Bell End Reds - I couldn't give a **** how ****ing often they go the match - listened to their ****e and accepted that wisdom as their own. That man fought like **** to get what he saw as a fair shot for us ****ers - even when half of them were calling for his head. He'd have every right to sit back at the European Champions and laugh like **** at us as we flounder around in the lower reaches of the league.

But no - he comes out swinging every time someone tries to denigrate him or his time at this club, or indeed the club itself - note, not the Board - the club. We appear to be happier to fight each other.

He fought and still fights for us. If acknowledging that fact makes me ****ing Uber, so be it.
    Are we winning?

Liverpool FC fans give their reaction to Rafael Benitez's comments (POLL RESULTS)
Nov 2 2010 By Sean Bradbury

          ECHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOO
Almost 1,500 Reds fans have filled in our online poll so far - and the vast majority of them agree with Rafael Benitez's comments on Roy Hodgson.

Asked whether the Inter Milan manager's criticisms of Hodgson were correct, 88 per cent of fans - or 1,286 out of 1,461 - believed they were.

Speaking to the media yesterday ahead of his side's Champions League tie in London against Spurs this evening, Benitez said, "I think that Mr Hodgson, he doesn't understand. Every single press conference is even worse than the last one.

"He's talking about things that he doesn't know. And some people cannot see a priest on a mountain of sugar."

The former LFC boss was responding to accusations from Hodgson that he had banned Kenny Dalglish from Melwood during his Anfield tenure.

Hodgson had said: "When they wanted me for the job, I made it clear to Kenny that he would be with me - not like with Benitez, when he was here in name but not allowed to step foot in Melwood and it was 'we don't want anything to do with you'".
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Conceded 3 goals against Spurs in both 'legs' now. There's predictably only one conclusion coming out of this for Inter fans in the coming season(s): defend, defend, defend.

Mourinho was good at it and sneaking wins, heck he's mastered it. Rafa is 95% of Mourinho, unfortunately that last lacking 5% is going to kill Inter.
                        One tit for another.

                            Eh?

Rafa is the anti-thesis of Mourihno.

Hehe I wouldn't have thought one result in the group stages will have any bearing on judgement of Rafa's work at Inter come the end of the season. Spurs were outstanding but there's a lot more to come from Inter, who were without Cambiasso, Milito and their keeper.
