He want to win trophies in other countries. That is what he said himself and the reason to why he only signs one year deals at Barcelona so he can leave when he want.

        GUARDIOLA TEMPTED BY PREMIER LEAGUE

Next Permanent Man Utd Manager Win Specials: Guardiola, P. 8/1

Pep Guardiola has revealed that he could be tempted to England once his reign at Barcelona comes to an end.

The 39-year-old coach is still a relative novice when it comes to management, having only taken charge at Camp Nou in 2008.

Butm he has enjoyed remarkable success in his short time at the helm, guiding Barca to domestic, European and global titles.

Guardiola knows that nothing can last forever, though, and accepts that there will become a time when he is forced to relinquish the reins.

When that day comes, the former Spain international admits that he would welcome the opportunity to work in the Premier League, having missed out on the chance to turn out in England during his playing days.

"As a player I was interested but it was not possible," said Guardiola.

"I would not rule it out.

"It is not something I have planned yet but because of the nature of this job, I know I will not be here forever or even for many years.

"I don't rule it out but neither is it something I am planning at the moment."

Guardiola is reported to have attracted interest from Chelsea in the recent past, while Arsenal and Manchester United view him as a possible long-term replacement for their long-serving bosses Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson.
doesn't seem to be anything imminent.

Guardiola is manager of the best team ever. If he quit it would be to take a break from football, he said that himself.

But the reason he only ever signs 1 year deals is political. He doesn't trust the board and he only stays on year by year in order to keep decision making power and stop the board from changing their plans behind his back

We finished the season looking stronger and fresher, but if you're 15-20 points behind, as we sometimes were, it didnt matter.
When was this exactly? Was it before an important league games or before league games that didn't really matter and we had a CL game on the horizon? I honestly don't remember and it would be a difficult thing for me to do a search for.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I don't remember so many changes very often either, the odd player change yes from game to game, which iirc he got slated on a weekly basis for doing, never mind Ferguscum has just gone 150 games without naming the same side.

So many myths and half truths where Rafa is concerned.

I didnt circle the date on my calendar, but i do specifically remember seeing it happen on occasions and thinking "christ, that's a lot of changes". It wasnt ALWAYS 9 changes, but a few times it was. Often, i remember it being something like 7 changes, too. Basically, too many.

He didnt do it to such extremes in his last 2 or so years, though.

As for league games - every league game matters mate....unless you're going to Fulham in your 35th or 36th league game, with little or no hope of improving your final position, and when there's a CL final around the corner

I'm going to question your memory then mate, if i may.

You know when you notice something and it sticks in your mind - that is what i'm talking about here. As i've said, it happened during the first half of his time at LFC, but i still specifcally remember that it did happen.

many fans want Rafa back, Some of the players dont, well it is rumoured they dont.

Some fans dont want him back, some players probably do.

The owners like stats, Rafa likes stats.

for me the main reason i dont think he will be back soon if at all under these owners is the fact they talk about everyone agreeing and a collegiate approach.

Rafa and certainly for good reason with us tends not to be like this. Now it is possible that if the owners give him what he wants then the approach would such, what if they cant give him what he wants? thats why i think they wouldnt want him.

I think he ticks many of the boxes that we want, he does have his weaknesses as do all managers but i just cant see him fitting with the owners and comolli.

                    i could be wrong though

i think if you read everything then you will see why i dont think he will be back.

instead of rafa likes stats owners like stats i should have said both favour a statistics based approach.
