The problem is that he didn't get the money to do that, to sign players that fits his tactics and not the tactics they used the last couple of years with Mourinho.

You simply can't stand still, then the opposition will catch you. Inter stood still one transfer window and that could end up costing them the title.

The rivals signed up players like Ibra, Robinho, Krasic....

Who did Inter sign? Rafa wanted Masch but didn't get the money to sign him.

How great would it be if Inter sacked Rafa and we sacked Bodgson around the same time. Perfect timing

I think we wouldn't even need perfect timing to a point. If Rafa got the sack from Inter I could see him taking time off until the Liverpool job was available. He could do with the rest anyway!

he wont be coming back. regardless of what inter board say, rafa will see out the season for sure. we're struggling to name names who could take over - so would inter.

We must know by now not to write a Rafa team off in November?

It is a very tough situation for Rafa, Mourinho is just an incredible manager thats seems to be able to get the best out of players playing under him, 5 trophies in 2 years is phenomenal and Rafa is under pressure already.

Moratti and Inter fans will not accept 6th place for much longer especially with the class squad Inter have, Rafa needs results asap or he is out the door, no forgiveness in Serie A especially when they have dominated the league for last 6 seasons or so. I'm sure they will improve

Rafa has been given 3 games to sort out things at Inter, otherwise he walks the plank.

It would be a ****ing travesty if Rafa was sacked and Dodgson still in charge here.

I think it would pay off for Inter to be more patient, they needed to freshen up a very tired squad but didn't and are paying the price now.

Exactly, there are some veru old men in that squad now. They need a good few new faces to replace the guys that just can't do it anymore. I think if they stick with him, they'll be there or there abouts come the end of the season
