Just as a lot on here had apprehensions about Roy and his obviously flawed tactics before he came, similarly Inter fans had the same apprehensions about Rafa. Admittedly Rafa is a much better manager than Roy, but he's certainly no Ferguson or Mourinho which is what a team as established as Inter need right now.

That after they had a very tough long season followed by the World Cup. I don't really know what Moratti was thinking but he didn't act like someone that want to be number one. Moratti need to take a long hard look at himself and his transfer strategy. I thought that he was more clever and learned from the mistake Milan did after they won the CL 07.

It is not a poor excuse because they played many games last season and many players played in the world cup. That means almost no rest at all.

They needed every player they could get. They only had Eto'o, Milito and Pandev if you don't count Balotelli.

Pandev hasn't delivered at all. That makes it two good strikers after they sold Balotelli. That after a very tough season and this may even be an even longer one. They will play in the world club competition next month.

To sell a striker and not replace him was madness. All it takes was that either Milito or Eto'o would get injured or be off form they would be in big problems.
