And a feeling of "i have achieved" from players, which makes motivation and hunger, incredibly difficult.

Suppose depends on the attitude of the player, hard to know but very plausible for sure. Rafa has some serious work ahead of him thats for sure.

But we have a good squad still, a poor season doesn't mean we were in a bad state. In the board room we may have been but we have some good players and a decent squad.

I have 4 games in few accumulators, need Napoli/Getafe/Espanyol and Deportivo to win. Only reason why i'm paying such close attention to these foriegn leagues, well the Italian league anyways

You're digging yourself into a hole now, because if you're saying we werent in a bad state and that we have good players/decent squad, it means rafa must've messed up in order for us to have finished 7th

I don't think we have a good squad, hence having the likes of Eccelston,Spearing,Poulsen,Jovo,Babel on the bench every week, peppered with weak links we are IMO.

But we should be doing better than current position suggests, IMO poor manager and poor squad. Both need to be addressed.

Rafa not getting right was part of our problem last season (other factors contributed too though).

I can't see Inter keeping Rafa. He will probably be sacked even before the CL game against Twente.

The thing about that he wouldn't get past the first round of negotiation bit with NESV is bull****.

They won't look at what he achieved in Italy. They will look at what he achieved with us and that wasn't exactly piss poor results.

They will look at how long time it would take to get us back challenging again and the youth system and the squad is built for playing Rafa style football.

That is the sort of things they will look at. He will most probably be one of the options at the end of the season because I doubt that Roy will get the sack before then. The Torres comment made me believe that Henry talked to the players and told them that Roy is staying until the end of the season no matter what results we do.

                        Why not?

You have quite a habit of stating things as fact, when you know no more than anyone else.

Because it is a different league and his first season. If he had been there two three years making bad results then that would be a different thing.

NESV will most probably want a manager that can build a dynasty and that they will keep a long time even if the results isn't great the first or second season IMO.

Is Rafa that man? Who knows? He will be one of a number of options of course.

I think the big problem for Rafa if he want to come back is that Gerrard and Carragher is still playing for us. I doubt that Rafa will be back as long as they play for us. I think that is a bigger problem than if he is good enough or not.

You can state your opinion of why it wouldnt be wise to consider what rafa's done at inter, but you cannot say what NESV will or wont do, because you do not know. You state your opinion as fact, which is irritating beyond belief.

And your nonsensical bile re Gerrard, is really starting to irk.
