One could argue that he's proved himself to be cracked just for taking such a job.
Or it could be a challenge to take on and an opportunity to win more silverware. It is just possible that Rafa actually really loves the job of managing top football teams.

Even if he fails at Inter I suspect he will remain pretty employable.

You could equally say that he has proved himself to be brave and willing to excel. You don't get to be at the top end of the managerial tree without confidence in your ability.

Absolutely. Like I said earlier I really admire him for having the single-mindedness and courage to take the job on. I suspect there are loads of managers out there who would have shied away from the challenge.

He had the courage to change things and not just continue using the same tactics as Mourinho. He wanted to make the team even better and more attacking.

You don't change that in three four months if you don't get the money to do it.

If you look at the tactics Mancini used and the one Mourinho used then there isn't much difference really. Mourinho just developed that tactics a bit but not much. He didn't change it to be more attacking or more defensive. He fined tuned a few bits and made the team more effective.

Not unlike whoever eventually takes over from Ginsoak. That will seriously be a job to keep away from.

Yeah good luck to anyone who takes over from Fergie alright, i think the only one with the conjones to do that is Jose Mourinho.

Haha yeah, big time. Intriguing to see who it turns out to be. Could be a while yet though, I get the feeling Ferguson will only leave OT in a box.

If they get beat to the mighty Chievo he is in deep trouble, they have 2 difficult league fixtures coming up in Parma and the big one against Lazio, as well as Champs league games against Twente and Bremen away, lot of pressure games coming up as they have to put out strong sides in those fixtures too.

Ludicrous us talking about Inter having a are with that squad.

Not doing as well as they should, but the squad is ageing and having won everything last year, motivation was always going to be tough.

Might be worth thinking of an overhaul, but Moratti would need to put his hand into his pocket.

Rafa has absolutely no excuse for not winning the league with Inter. Early days but the signs aren't promising.

Considering that Inter only scraped the title last season and Inter haven't had a great deal of money to improve the team while others have, that is a pretty daft statement.

With that team though he should be doing so much better. Expectation is so high after wining league 5 or 6 years on the trot, I'm sure they'll invest in January but Rafa could be gone before then if they don't start winning. Moratti and the fans take no prisoners over there, no forgiveness.

They were challenging on every front last season so obviously the league form is going to suffer a bit. You don't take over a team good enough to win the treble & not win a poor Italian league with it.
