Ah yeah okay. It's obviously not been pretty for him but overall I wouldn't call it a cluster**** at all. He's enhanced his rep, or at the very least restored it, in the eyes of the majority - apart from bitter cunts like Ray Wilkins LOL

He'll get a good job next, definitely - and that wasn't happening before he took the Chelsea job. I make no bones about it, I'm happy for him.

I'm happy for him too and also, living in Lisbon, I' wouldn't be unhappy if they beat the greasy horror show that's Benfica. That said, it's on a knife edge for him and if they lose to spurs on Wednesday and then lose the Uefa cup final he'll wish he never took that job

Yep his spell there will probably be defined by their last few games.

Shreeves before the match "Rafa you've decided to rotate your team AGAIN!" and then some stupid question along the lines of 'is there a plan behind it or do you just do it for the craic'. No mention of uniteds rotation in the same way.

My word Wilkins as well refusing to give Rafa any credit for getting them back in the hunt for CL and into another European final.

They really are massive bellends at sky.

I was laughing out loud at Wilkins - you could see the bitterness oozing out of every pore

The wilful ignorance of Ferguson's rotation - who rotates more than anyone else - while slating Rafa for it is pathetic, and quite amusing. The match going Mancs call Ferguson's rotation "Fergie's Team Tombola"

Rafa is the best manager in the PL and he is showing everyone that doubted him wrong. It took a few months but Chelsea is now the best organized TEAM in the PL and it is Chelsea he organized. He showed that he is THE boss and not Terry, Cole, Lampard.

It is just sad that we had an i*iot like Purslow as our CEO.

I think you might be unhinged. Your obsession with this man is unhealthy. Do you have a mannequin with a rafa goatee drawn on in your house?

No, only a daughter named after him, Rafaela. Sad isn't it.

Rafa is managing Chelsea well despite the conditions. He will have had little or no backing amongst that squad, similair to other managers there granted, but worse than they had. He has had to put up with every single Chelsea fan railing against him - he has shut them up with relentless pragmatism and just ****ing winning.

The man is a genius. He is performing against the odds. I wish our manager all the luck in the world, but I wonder if we are a step behind where Rafa would have had us.

The evidence is there that that is not just sentiment.

I cannot ever see FSG bringing Rafa back, just a feeling but I think its narrow minded considering he's still very much a top manager performing very well under ridiculous circumstances.

Rodgers will have his time, but if it doesn't work out for him I'd want Rafa back but I just couldn't see it happening.

The Chelsea side has some very good players but there is a lack of a dm and a better forward and better back up players and while hazard, mata and Oscar are very good, they lack are still very young.

Remarkable what he's doing in the circumstances really. Shame he's done it for a bunch of ungrateful ****s because a year out of the champions league for Chelsea would be good for them.
