Pandev, Mariga, Muntari, Motta, Stankovic, Chivu, Samuel, Materazzi, Lucio, Zanetti and Cordoba.

The players they need to replace in the next couple of years.

I can only laugh at some people that don't seem to think that age doesn't matter or if the players are good enough.

Flippin heck mate. What does that say about your belief in Rafa's management skills if you think he needs to be given £100m to spend on new players in order to make a treble winning team compete at the top level??

          Royfa Benitez. RAFL. RAFLCOPTER.
Two, three key injuries. Something like six or seven out of the strongest starting XI have been injured a long time. Maybe you need to check up how many injuries they had so far this season, please do that

I said in the next couple of years, not this season.

Check it up and then decide how many of the players that will be good enough in two years time. Then you would find out that they need to replace something like eight nine players but why do that when you can act the lazy way and just moan?

Check it up please and then tell me that it is wrong. Just do that, please
You're talking nonsense, in your vain attempts to dismiss any mistakes rafa makes.

The squad is ageing, yes. But it also completed the TREBLE just 6 months ago. You dont go from that to being 7th, in the space of 6 months.

You should just accept that Mourinho did far better with virtually the same squad, than rafa is doing. It's fact.

If we had 100 million to spunk this January I would love to buy the following players, we would be right up there for a top 4 spot even with Roy in charge:

Pandev, Mariga, Muntari, Motta, Stankovic, Chivu, Samuel, Materazzi, Lucio, Zanetti and Cordoba

              Point made.

What about NOW Arn???? Forget the next couple of years, they've gone from treble winners, to 7th in the table NOW.

                Is anything ever rafa's fault???

I already said in this thread that Mourinho did a fantastic job because the squad really isn't that great. Inter was already on the way down last season.

Mourinho did a fantastic job last season.

Then you also need to look at the way Rafa want them to play. High pressure attacking football. It takes a lot out of the players and after a long hard season playing many games and then the world cup then it really doesn't fit the squad to play that way.

Many older players that had a long season and then the new manager want them to work even harder than last season.

                    The result. Many injuries.

Cesar, Zanetti, Maicon, Samuel, Chivu, Stankovic, Coutinho, Milito and Motta. Sneijder is playing half fit and Cambiasso missed a few games.

You're such an arrogant poster sometimes - and it's made worse when you're talking ****. Makes you look ignorant and stupid too...

                        Pandev - 27
                        Mariga - 23
                        Muntari - 26
                        Motta - 28
                        Chivu - 30

Samuel is 32, not young but hardly 'finished' for a CB. Same with Lucio. Stankovic is 32. Cordoba's 34. Materazzi is 37 and obviously well past it. Same with Zanetti.

But by populating your list of 11 'old' players with 5 who are 30 or younger (including a 23 year old, a 26 year old, a 27 year old and a 28 year old ) you're making a wally of yourself.

So yes, keep laughing. We are too.

If Mourinho was able to win everything with them, by implementing a different way of playing to rafa's 'high pressure attacking football' (i cant believe i just typed that with a straight face), then why cant rafa?

Is Mourinho just possibly, a better manager?

or if the players are good enough.

They were missing Julio Cesar, Maicon, Walter Samuel, Cristian Chivu, Diego Milito and Eto'o the other night. All 6 of those started the CL final.

They have been ****ing ravaged to be fair. Bayern Munich have had the same problems, they're 14 points off top and it could go 17 points today with Dortmunds game in hand. Chelsea's problems have happened as soon as they lost Terry, Essien and already had Lampard out etc. Injuries to key players **** teams up badly.

That said, they should still be beating teams like Brescia and Lecce and I dont want him back.
