Well, there aren't too many managers that are universally popular even among opposition supporters. Kenny is about as close as it gets, and that certainly wasn't the case first time round when he was generally perceived as being sullen.

That match against the Germans at the last WC, Rafa would have sent them out with a proper tactical plan and given them a decent chance of going through. He'd be perfect for the job considering the limitations of the players.

Quite simply though, i don't think he'd get the time, unless it was; and it would need to be........ win win win.

Well, in order for me to think highly of someone, I'd generally require them to make some sort of semblance of an impression on me.

I wonder if AVB got sacked in the near future if Rafa would be on Chelsea's radar? Torres would obviously spearhead the campaign and after some of our performances against Chelsea over the years, I'm sure he'd have plenty of support from the old brigade.
