Right manager, right club, wrong time. I feel sorry for him. Regardless he served an incredibly important role in the club and is one of the reasons we are where we are. Shame he left under the circumstances that he did and that he was replaced so poorly in such a disgraceful manner. He's still one of the best in the game and in all probability will manage Spain at some point. Timing has been unfortunate to him throughout his career but over time I'm sure the footballing world (perhaps only outside of the UK) will recognise him for as good as he's been. He's done an outstanding job at other clubs and his legacy won't be judged at Liverpool alone. Feel he has a great chance at another big job in Italy or Spain before his career comes to an end.

Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez says the club's fans "need to be concerned" after a 4-0 hammering at Braga.
"You see the teams that have been promoted, the money they are spending. Put it all together and you understand why the fans need to be concerned.

I would say the club does because the fans have been brilliant with him, it’s just the owners....and no one wants them, even the fans want Ashley outOriginally posted by spud_gun View PostThat ****house club don't deserve the great man"Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball."
