. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
It's only a matter of time before we convert him to a flying left winger and flog him to Real for one hundred billion dollars then.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

if he becomes a flying left winger, can we make more top gun references?
He's still be dangerous in defence... But he can be Brendan's wingman anytime...And you never need an excuse to bust out the Top Gun refs.
I was going to watch it this weekend but I've loaned a mate my fight suit for his 80's weekend in Butlins so it may have to be Days of Thunder instead

Unbelievable strength, steps across players as though they're not there, good in the air and composed on the ball - always prefers to slide one into midfield than belt it up the pitch. He's played 3 games in 3 different positions so far - he's going to be a mainstay for us.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Didn't see the game but do you think Agger is the one in trouble of being benched?

If everyone was fit I'd play Toure and Sakho as our centre back pairing.
His composure under pressure is brilliant.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.
We're the only club left who seem to think captain and vice captain matter.
Who is Man U's captain and their vice captain? Rooney was skipper last night but in the last year or so Vidic, Evra, Giggs, Ferdinand, Carrick have all captained them, I think RvP did it as well.
Same with Arsenal, Man C, Spurs etc...
Terry and Lampard are skipper and vice at Chelsea and they both get left out all the time.
It's irrelevant in modern football to every other side except us.

But in fairness there's been no competition to Agger so therefore we couldn't drop him even if we wanted to
