Yep great to see. He scored and assisted reasonably regularly in a good Southampton side and there's no reason he shouldn't score and assist more regularly for us. If he scores 4 or 5 between now and May he might just save himself.

Tough one now, as whilst it was only the one game he's looked better from the bench
Let's hope this is the catalyst for him regaining his Southampton formI saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

I know I've been slagging him off a lot, but today he deserves credit, turned the game around. And my main grief with him was never his ability, but the fact that he was a bottler - well he was anything but that at Norwich, please let this be a sign of him stepping it up! If not, I still stand by what I've said.

Klopp has a soft spot - for the soft emoji-player Lalalalala -
who one day turns up to be genious almost having a touch like Michael Laudrup
and
the next day is immature, running into hidding places, giving away every second pass, taking extra stepovers instead of passing to a free man etc.
He seems so emotionally influenced in his concentration and ability. If Klopp can train him in this perspective, I trust he can be more genious than waste.
Maybe Lallana has had a time of growth, when Couthinho has been out - now he is needed to turn up.- - - - -

There have been a lot of games where he huffs and puffs, fades out, and makes wrong decisions. Yesterday, there was a lot of space, so he was good to exploit that. When teams are sat back, or defensively organised, he hasn't looked good.
Still has a lot to do, but it wouldn't surprise me if Klopp kept him as a squad player next season, especially with the English quota and all that malarkey.

I actually wonder did he mean to hit it into the ground???Originally posted by Buzzo View PostEven Frank will need to give him credit today. He came in and helped turn the game. Deserved the winner, and superb assist.
In reality he won us the points.
He has lost us a lot more points though.....and the fact that it was his first goal in 10 months says it all.

He'd been out of form, so deserve to be benched. But I see a player in there, hope he manages to show it more often.
