I dont know if he will end up missing us. But I do think that he hit the apex of his career with us. Everything was geared to him. BR built the side around his style of play.Originally posted by rcasemore View PostI think he'll end up missing us, the fans at Barca will love him but he'll never be Messi and I think the adulation of the fans is something that drives him on.
What a ****ing player he is he could play for almost anyone and I'd happily watch him.
I hope im proved wrong though, because talented players are always a joy to watch, regardless of team.*Except Michael, who died.

Luis Suarez has an autobiography coming out this week titled ‘Crossing the Line: My Story’. The Guardian’s Daniel Taylor has had early access to the book and in his column today details some interesting snippets.
The most curious of these is one from when the striker was at Ajax. It was the final game of the 09/10 Eredivisie season with the title coming down to the line. Ajax were a point behind league leaders FC Twente (who were managed by Steve McClaren) and needed them to drop points against NAC Breda. The Amsterdam side were playing NEC Nijmegen.
Suarez went to the Ajax directors and suggested that they offer NAC Breda a financial bonus to win the game.
Their response was not what the Uruguayan wanted.
"No, no, no! Are you mad, Luis? Don’t mention that ever again. We don’t do that kind of thing in Holland."
Ajax won their game but so did Twente, meaning the Enschede side won the Eredivisie by a point.
Another interesting fact from the book is that he keeps a trophy at his home in Montevideo given to him by Uruguayan fans which commemorates his handball against Ghana in the World Cup.
"I will make the boys feel your support"
