it wasnt meant as a slight on lazar just that origi and him have similar traits and from what ive seen of origi this year he looks ready to join our squad - not necessarily play every week.

one bad game and some folk are writing him off. like lazar he will need time.

Absolutely - there was a reason we were happy to have him stay at Lille for one more season. We're probably lucky he wasn't here this season and as he may have lost some confidence playing in this team so far. Or it could just be Lille are a bit **** and have dragged him down. They are so defensive even in Ligue 1!

Lille seemed like a great choice for a loan move but they a so horribly negative & dull, not doing the lad any favours the way the set up. Good for him to get game time but the way they play I can't really see him improving the attacking side of his game with Lille.

I know. If instead of buying Balotelli we just offered Lille 5m of that money for Origi to come straight over to us we would be no worse (probably better) off than we are now. Now we just have another once overrated footballer who doesn't fit our system or playing style on huge wages to offload.
