The worry is the level of expectation that would be placed on him - the fans are seeing a team that isn't scoring, knowing a striker is out on loan, watching Balotelli stumble and fail to convince and then assuming that this guy will come in and just be better. If he isn't, its likely that a fair proportion of fans will lump him in with the not so successful signings, which might end up destroying the lad's confidence before he was supposed to even be here.

It would be far better to wait it out and bring him into a more settled team. There's enough change just now, its not the best of circumstances to be bringing him in really.

If Sturridge stays fit he is likely to be on the bench, that probably wont happen Balotelli shows no signs of encouragent that he will improve in the current set up so think he would get plenty of game time

He will be a really good fit for us, his movement and link up with the midfield has been quality.

Not involved as much as Sturridge would be for example but he's offering good forward linkup play as opposed to say Lukaku or Balotelli. Agreed, he's definitely a good fit for our style of play.

Watched the game. He did some good things but you can see he is still raw. We should leave him at Lille to develop imo.
