While he is better through the middle, I dont think he is anywhere near good enough or suited for a deep striker role.

Happy to be proved wrong, though. Minamino seems to be the obvious choice to sit in there. Origis problem is that he fails to perform in the wider areas, despite having the attributes that would suggest he would do well there. Hopefully he will step up, but we have been saying that for years. I think we would have sold him had an offer come in.

Needs to be much more aggressive and impose himself on the game rather than wandering around and looking at the flowers.

Noticed that as well, looked confident and reminded me of Dirk Kuyt a bit last night - never tired and chased everything

Dirk was capable of putting a run of games together but yeah here’s hoping he’s turned a corner

Completely agree with these comments about Div. It is like he has let something go and is just enjoying his game.

Fingers crossed that him and Minamino can keep up these levels when called upon. Having a couple of additional attacking players who could come on and potentially get goals could make a massive difference
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

its such a training /5 a side goal, ball is behind you so stick out a lazy leg and hope for the best and its came off.

A serious game where the score is level, he attempts to turn and hit it on his left foot.

It didn't really look like a lazy leg out though, it was a quick and precise flick and looks to have gone how he intended it to.
