[QUOTE=Shaggy;3313975]If it was sung properly - i.e. sing the verse and sing it with a bit of vitality instead of the funereal dirge it is at the moment - I wouldn't mind it so much. But what we get now is woeful. And I know they ripped it off Palace but City's song for Guardiola is ****ing great. Great managers deserve great songs and we need a new one for Klopp.[/QUOTE
How about 'let's go to the hop'

'Football sensation, that's sweeping the nation, Jurgen Klopp'
This guy. This ****ing guy. He's unbelievable. I am really not one to lay into Brendan, but Klopp is levels above. He's only added Mané, Matip and Gini but he's improved almost all of them and more to the point there is a clear plan, a method and a style. He's a brilliant football manager and an insanely likeable - no, lovable - fella. I'm crazy about him
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I only wonder what if he came last summer, we asked the question and he said not now.
A jurgen summer and preseason, surely he should regret wanting a break, but hes all about the present and now and thats a weight off his shoulders lots struggle with

If someone offered you an extra six months off work... im sure you would snap their arms off (if money was not an issue... ) and considering the stresses involved. I think he may have been making the most of the time off perhaps doing some research and planning... if indeed he knew he was likely to end up here. Sometimes I think a great manager can become a ****e one because they lose perspective. I think last season gave Klopp the best part of a season to aclimitise with no expectation or stress. If he had have started in the summer, things may have gone very differently.
Either way... I am very happy with where we are now... even though he still has not bough a ****ing holding midfielder or left back. If we do go on to do the impossible, then I will be even more impressed with a guy I seem to have a massive man crush on.
Go Klopp... wooo!
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

I think Rodgers gets too much stick. Tactically, I dont think they are a million miles appart. When we finished second we were pressing high up the pitch with a very similar formation. Its just Brendan could not get bigger players in or sort the defence out... and thouht he was a master of psychology, while coming off like a used car salesman... which again I think is a bit unfair.
And then there was losing both the two top scorers in the league and having been offered either Balotelli or nothing as a replacement. I think pretty much any manager would have suffered from that.

I'll not ruin the Klopp thread by talking about the last guy
But the first half last night must have been as close to the perfect Klopp performance. The whole team were on it from the first kick, buzzing around the pitch with purpose, everyone seemed to know their job, ball retention was brilliant, and pressing when we didn't was amazing. The forwards changing position and creating chances, the defence looking solid.
Klopp has a clear plan, and is getting it across to his team. He has improved almost all of the players he inherited and his signings have been picked perfectly and identified with a job to do. It was a master stroke getting him in, he has changed the mentality of the entire club with his enthusiasm and personality.
Something stood out for me last night about Klopp's tactics. We always focus on his counter-pressing etc, but, as Klopp said to slimeball Shreeves in the Sky interview at Melwood, when we have the ball, we are possession-based.
Last night, our ability with the ball was excellent. Sharp, precise passing, movement off the ball into space, it was brilliant.
