bit of a sweeping generalisation there!!

Its not as if the atmosphere is better for a mid week match when the crowd is predominantly locals

Not just pinning lack of noise on them, there's loads of locals who look at you like you've ten heads if you try get a song going. But I've seen it myself, I get bunged in the upper Anny Road where most of the travel agent tickets go and again, those around me sing very little.
