I just think he's one of these that won't play if he feels the slightest bit not right. Yesterday he was walking fine, was looking over at the bench and put his arm up, got no response so collapsed on the floor like he'd just been shot, pulling a face of extreme pain, then walked off fine.

He's great when fit, but he's unavailable most of the time. In a center partnership you need consistency and as long as he's first choice when fit, this is going be an issue. Having him as backup is questionable due to his fitness record. We need to source his replacement as a priority.

I was watching on tv & you could see exactly when he felt it go as his stride shortened & he waved to the bench to let them know.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Matip is a great player and adds so much to the team, and although he is soggy biscuits he is still a nailed on starter if/when fit.
So well worth keeping alive so he can be available some times.

Keita isnt a great player, brings nothing to the team, also soggy biscuits and nothing more than a 50m+ bench warmer.
        Enough already.
Not to make this about Keita but in his last game he was one of our best players. In a game we won 7-0. His quality for me isn’t an issue. His fitness is.

Btw, have you had your fair share of twisted bollocks too?*

*DON'T answer that please.. we've had enough stories from you to last a lifetime
In all seriousness, it happened to me when I was younger. Testicular torsion - no idea how it happened but was painful as ****. Apparently not as uncommon as one would imagine. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-...s/syc-20378270

IMO this latest Matip injury will force us to go into the market for another CB, absolutely stupid if we don't.

Most likely bs but seeing people say 12 weeks on Twitter......the way our season has gone nothing would surprise me at this stage

Yeah seen that earlier alright, I just wouldn't be surprised when it comes to Matip.

I'm unsure why Williams is getting the nod over Phillips. He was man of match in his last match.

We’re playing tomorrow unless you know the team already?
                        Are we winning?

Ha. I meant over the last few weeks. I have no idea on tomorrow's line up. Sorry for the confusion. Goodwill to all men and fredo.

Style - Williams is better on the ball and suits the way we want to play. Phillips is better vs teams who launch it because he is good in the air - might be suited to playing vs Newcastle and Brucie

I knew I left myself open to that - I think Klopp just prefers Williams but Phillips is suited to clogger cunts.....I guess Klopp cares more about how we play than the opposition
