          Don't think he did. His last game was when he was still there, but don't think he officially retired until after he joined us as there was talk of him being suspended for us because he refused to go to AFCON.

              Id say he us close to my player of the season. Not much, if anything at all between him and VVD. Considering I though he was pretty much done after the last injury, he has been virtually faultless the whole season, where he looks like he has hardly broken sweat most of the time.

              TAA has racked up the assists. Salah has been fantastic for 2/3 of the season. Mane is on fire for the run in.

              Thiago makee eveything seem more sexy.

              Everyone else has been merely excellent.

              Still everything to play for too.

                Naby has to be in there with a shout too. MOTM performance against Madrid and that will probably seal it for him.

                  Your love in for him is great but he's been nowhere near our best player. Thiago, Matip, TAA and Robbo, Salah and Mane, Jota and Diaz, Alisson, Fab and Virg have all had better seasons

                    Virg or Salah for player of the season, with TAA and Thiago just behind. Matip has been great but not played as many games. Same for Diaz.
