Thought he played very well again but he's not the smartest player around. The guy literally doesn't tire, it's nuts. His approach play is brilliant, work rate, winning ball back etc ... just the final ball he needs to improve on. Think he'll be a huge player for us this season once again.

I think he is very smart. Look at the second goal we scored vs Spurs. Sold Trippier with a counter run behind his back. His runs are a nightmare for any defence. The day he consistently improves his end product and final pass, he will be categorised as world class.
Some of his decision making was poor but at the same time some of tge stuff he was doing was pretty outrageous, loved that move where he sent Neymar back to Brazil.

Not to mention the little move when he flashed it across the goal in the second half. Again, some would argue he should have pulled it back, but he bloody earned that chance.

If Mane could improve his decision making IMO he would be world class. His first 5 yards is absolutely ridiculous, he never gets tired, always positive, always looking to go forward, can go either way, work rate and tackling are excellent. It's just that final ball that lets him down, the more time he has to think about it, the worse it is... much better when he has that split second and goes on instinct.

Agree with this but I don't see Mane as a smart player whatsoever. It's his composure & decision making that is stopping him from becoming world class.
