I like him, always looking for a pass and puts in a big shift every time he plays.
If anything the only way he could improve upon his early performances is to back himself a bit more dribbling on the counter.

But his willingness to keep the ball moving quick & to always move in to good spaces after the pass gets us out of some congested areas on the pitch.

Occasionally he misplaces a pass but he's generally quite safe & disciplined which is what we need in two out of the 3 mids I think.

I think Gini would take more risks if he was played further forward but Im sure he recognises you can't afford to try and beat someone in the one on one that deep in the middle of the park otherwise you get punished on the counter - if this is the case its the mark of a very intelligent footballer & also usually a very dutch one.

He was awesome, him, Lallana and Hendo made their overrated midfielders look ****. Our **** midfield has schooled Chelsea, took over at Arsenal second half and dominated Spurs. Not bad! The world is gonna watch when us and City play and we'll beat them aswell.

It is interesting Graeme Souness saying we probably can't win the league because our midfield is too attack minded. Get the feeling in a Klopp system that this isn't such a problem.

I wasn't sure about this guy when he signed, but now I think he's going to become a very important part of our first team. You don't really notice him a great deal, but that's because he's so tidy at what he does, he's a machine. To be honest, I think he's going to become a player whose name is first on the team sheet, and I don't think its going to be that long before this happens.

I agree, I think he's the tactical sort, understands the game and is a real team player, plus he's versatile as well.
