Anyone think he could play as a holding midfielder? Reminds me a bit of Didi Hamman.

To be honest, from what little we got to see of him at Newcastle, he always looked like a player who just 'got' football. He didn't need to be taught, or if he was taught it became second nature instantly. He just knew what to do, when to do it and then how to do it when under pressure. Not necessarily gasp inspiring football but just correct football.
The other player who stood out for me in the same way was Andre(w) Ayew. Where is he nowadays? I'd like Klopp to get him on the cheap to bolster our squad numbers with good quality midfielders. One tit for another.

That's why I have to pay to get in the game and am not paid to watch it....
Klopp certainly seems to be getting it right with his targets , just wish he could get who he wants this summer

He's been getting more impressive as the season goes on hasn't he? More than anything I'm surprised at his style, I expected someone technically decent but notable for late runs and goals. Not to say that isn't in his locker but his technique, awareness and short passing have been outstanding. Offering totally different things to what the highlights reel suggested he might.Like blood on iron

Bit of an enigma isn't he? Clearly very talented, immense in every big game against top sides, but can be totally invisible against the lesser sides. He's a totally clutch player and I reckon he could be that sort of Park Ji-Sung type for us - bench against the dross but nailed on starter against the top sides. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
