Don't get me wrong, I like him a lot. But he's a real enigma.I feel we lack a player who gives us structure in there. Without that it can be easy for players to go missing. Coutinho was the closest we have had in terms of looking to hold the ball but was still not a very positionally controlling player. Maybe that is just our style but we need one more CM who can come in and offer something different.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostThat applies to a lot of our CM's, most of them are far too inconsistent
The worst thing is when we bring Milner on to close out games and inevitably give up at least one goal."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

For me it seems he goes missing away from home.
Cant decide if he is good enough long term, but I think his position is always going to see a lot of players coming in and out. Its difficult to see what will happen until we know what Can is doing and if Henderson will start to improve a bit. Milner is not getting any younger. I can see a lot of players moving in and out.
I think its down to Wiji to show a bit more consistancy, as he can clearly perform. Perhaps its the mix of players in there, and he performs better in tandem with the Ox.In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

There's definitely something in that.Originally posted by dww View PostI feel we lack a player who gives us structure in there. Without that it can be easy for players to go missing. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I don't like him as a player for me he only looks good in a handful of games each season. Rest of the time he's either ordinary or anonymousBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

He hardly moves to receive the ball. He is pretty much stationary and then he passes it back to where it comes from. He's good at retaining the ball and in big games this is a positive and he works his arse off at home. But away he's pure ****.Originally posted by Lecter View PostHaha
