I thought he looked in complete control on Wednesday. Ribery isn't anywhere near the player he was but still a tricky opponent for a young scamp like TAA.

What I liked most was that shortly after VVD had scored, the ball either went out, or Mane was offside from another corner. I forget which. Anyway, TAA ended up with the ball and even though he saw one of the B-balls throw another to Neuer he pretended he hadn't and made sure there were two balls on the pitch to kill a few seconds.

It's the sort of thing Johnny Foreigner has been getting away with for years whereas we Brits are just too honest for that type of skullduggery. So good to see TAA showing a bit of big game savvy at such a tender age.

I noticed quite a few of those types things he was doing. And not that one.
