Hopefully Pep picks Grealish, in which case I'd fancy myself RB for this game.

Robbo is too one footed. Leave him at LB. Timi can kick with his right foot so he's a better option on the right.Originally posted by Charly View PostAgreed, Fab is too important to move. Id rather not move Matip out. Gomez got injured a lot playing there... It tempting fate.
Gomez is solid enough as a defender, but he look very awkward going forward.
Its a big ask for anyone, really. Hradest game of the season.
Id give Timmy a go in the next 2 games (or maybe Robbo)?removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Hope Trent is back though.
I thought Gomez played well v Forst also. Give him the game v Watford and hope that TAA is back for City.
Modifying post.

Let's face it he was very lucky not to have walked in the home game. I'd also play Tsimikas there tbh. Gomez there makes no sense to me.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostPlaying Milner there against City feels like a red card waiting to happen...Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Gomez there negates any sort of attacking threat or production from a position in which we usually thrive. At least Timmy will attempt to do that, Gomez just doesn't have it in his locker.

Given the way Southgate and England ****ed him over before the Euro's is it any surprise he wouldn't be available for two absolutely meaningless friendlies during the most important period in the clubs recent history?

It was a bit odd as he played the full 90mins vs Arsenal but I don’t think it was a complete ruse as he probably felt something after the game and it needed rest/recovery rather than a week away training.
