Any chance of playing Tsimikas and Robbo with one of them filling in on the right for a few games? Either of them ever played right back? If not, we're back to Milner, Williams or Fab as stand in... who has a preference?

As I mentioned above Neco hasn't had a run of games yet, and that is key for defenders, you can do fine when you aren't expected to play, but when a team can target you ahead of time that makes things much more tricky. I'm not sure Neco is ready for that yet (although obviously we won't know if we never give him games, it's catch 22). Personally I would be tempted to mix it up a bit between Milner and Neco so teams don't really know what to expect, I would be tempted to give Neco CL games and Milner PL an maybe sub one for the other depending on the situation.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostObviously depends on opponents but would people be more inclined to play Neco there, Milner, or even Fabinho when he's back? He played RB loads for Monaco. I'd be giving Neco a miss I think, and although Milner at full-back really stunts our game imo, I'd be going him or Fabinho.
I'm not sure when Fabinho is due back and what our plans for him are, he could revert to midfield and give Henderson a break (I might be tempted to do this anyway in the CL), or CB in VVD's absence (or when Matip gets injured again
), not really sure we can count on Fabinho being an option there with how things are, but he's probably best suited to the role.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I thought about Henderson as an option but I think we need him in midfield, particularly while Fabinho is out as well or playing CB. With the way the season is going I'd be looking to give Henderson rests where possible, so perhaps having him sit out some of the CL games, not sure playing him at fullback will him in that regardOriginally posted by Liverpool View PostI'd play Henderson if we could manage in midfield without him. Would be interested to see Jones play there against weaker teams.

Nice. I mean not nice he has this nasty virus but nice that he has it while injured and will very likely not get it again. At his age hope its completely asymptomatic. So that's Salah, Mane, Thiago and TAA out of our main stars that are in the clear for later in the season. Anyone else?Originally posted by Shaggy View PostI see Klopp let slip in his post-match that Trent had covid
