Feels like the second comic of Gerrard

Didn't Gerrard say he's the best thing he's seen to have come out of the youths since he's been at the club?

Says his ceiling and potential is massive.

I think this lad has all the attributes that Gerrard possessed with added pace and as such could genuinely be Phil's long term replacement. Anyone else think he's destined for the middle of the park too?

He looks ready now in terms of ability and size. I'm guessing he's being slowly introduced at RB to gain match awareness. I his free kicks look deadly, we need someone to deliver a corner as Phil's were dreadful.

Wasn't CM his original position anyway? Hasn't he just been moved around to help his development, and because he's actually good too?

I posted something similar in another thread, obviously we haven't seen him play there but he looks like more of a playmaker than any of the midfielders we have at the moment. I don't know if it's too early to try him in midfield but I can't see any reason not to.

He is by far the best talent I've seen coming through the ranks since Gerrard, and have all the attributes to make it in the game. Also seems to have the head in the right place. Will be interesting to see if he continues his development in the next 2-3 years, and if he does he could easily slide in to a vital part of our midfield. Still think it's to early to put the pressure on him, but he will get there!

Another good display in the main. Some of his crosses are brilliant, much better than Robbo in that aspect. Hope he keeps his place now, we need a bit of stability at the back. Gomes along side VVD would suit me right now in the lesser games. Gomes would learn from VVD and would be more likely to accept orders.

I think there is. Let's face it, he couldn't be much worse than KLM
