I'd ****in love if a Juventus player dived in the CL game at Wembley, got a penalty, and knocked them out. Would be ****in brilliant

They should retrospectively review them and issue bansOriginally posted by Red_Polo View PostThis form of diving where you stop playing the game and dive or otherwise move into contact created by the 'fouled' player is incredibly hard for a ref to clamp down on without VAR. Unfortunately, as we've seen, even then the idiots are hoodwinked by it as it's not something they are looking for. Spurs do it so often I am absolutely positive it's either under instruction or at least organised by a group of players sharing cheating strategies.Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

I didn't think he was that great today. A bit sloppy but still good enough to keep out of too much trouble.Originally posted by Reece View PostReal talent this guy, he's going to be great. But my word he's about as good as me at thrown-ins.
And you can tell he really hates taking them too
And throw ins are the absolute worst thing about playing proper football. I hate them.Oh I don't know.

Poor?
What did he do wrong?
He had 100% tackle success, with 4 won, which was highest in team. Won 80% of his duels, highest in defence. Played some nice forward passes too. His overall pass accuracy wasn't great, but that's not totally unexpected as he tries many more long passes than his teammates, 4 times as many as Robertson.
Not that stats tell a full story, but I thought he did well when i watched it, so wondering what others seen bar the crap throw-ins?If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

To be honest, I didn't think he had a great game by the standards he's set for himself, but he's still a baby so it's gonna happen every now and then.Originally posted by RedReet View PostPoor?

Defensively he was generally OK, and rarely threatened, plus he tracked back when required, especially well on one occasion in the first half.
You could see he was frustrated with himself on more than one occasion though as some of his passing and simple clearances weren't going to plan, and frequently sent the ball out of play etc. Offensively quiet as well as he started playing within himself.
Not a poor game by any stretch of the imagination I might add, just one to chalk down to the learning curve."I will make the boys feel your support"

Neither full back had the space they are used to so didn't have much impact in the final 3rd. Both defended well though and that's what we've been crying out for for years.
Trent did have a few off touches and it obviously wasn't one of his most eye-catching performances, but to say he was poor is extremely harsh. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
