After his first bad performance for us a few months ago (can't remember who against) he followed that up with a MOTM display then too.

Arguably two of his best performances have come in high pressure games, against City and Hoffenheim.

Factor in his undoubted talent and we have some player on our hands.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

maybe shows that he is intelligent enough to work with klopp and the analysts to identify the issues and improve. its not enough to be an athlete but some brains also makes an ok player into a great player.

Would love to see some stats on him, he was awesome, and City were targeting him as 80% of their "attacks" came his way, a really busy night for him but a top class performance.

When Clyne is proper fit, TAA could be used further forward, he is even better when he flanks.

That was some performance. I've always thought he was special and the potential to be too good to be a fullback, but that was a proper fullback performance, almost flawless, so Klopp is going to have a headache if/when he decides to move him.

Never expected that performance from him, but my word, that was phenomenal. Just assured, and as the game went on, I was so relaxed, knowing he had Sane dealt with, which is crazy after his recent games against Gashford and Zaha.

Brilliant again. Kept his concentration throughout. Really mature performance.

Especially considering he was on a yellow for most of the game.

                        And he's just 19.

Had Sane in his pocket for 180 minutes - not bad for a teenager
