Thanjk you.

To be honest, I didn't think he had a great game by the standards he's set for himself, but he's still a baby so it's gonna happen every now and then.
Defensively he was generally OK, and rarely threatened, plus he tracked back when required, especially well on one occasion in the first half.
You could see he was frustrated with himself on more than one occasion though as some of his passing and simple clearances weren't going to plan, and frequently sent the ball out of play etc. Offensively quiet as well as he started playing within himself.
Not a poor game by any stretch of the imagination I might add, just one to chalk down to the learning curve.
Both Gomez and TAA are decent enough but will get found out against better opposition. I don't think either will finish their career in that position which doesn't help.
Maybe Clyne can get back to his best next year which will help us defensively, I doubt we'll sign a RB in the summer though so it could be our achilles next season if he doesn't.
Long ball team, plays long ball game at home, against a CB we know is **** and will invariably not deal with it, yet TAA still caught out of position and on his heels with all this knowledge and drilling.
Forgivable because he's a youngster (as is Gomez). But it's like a dad forgiving his sons writing off three BMWs one after the other. Fecking costly.
Big mistake for the first goal, wrong side of Rashford to start with, no anticipation of the flick on and should have known that Rashford favours the right foot so the cut-back was always likely. Good finish by Rashford, mind you.
Still, TAA is young and will learn, needs to take on board the lessons from this game and move on, not let it linger in his mind because of who the opposition were. We all have bad games, so on we go.
Thought he looked a little out of his depth at times but the lad is so young and first game at old trafford its expected.... shame he was punished so severely for the momentary lack of judgement
