Maybe they do understand it, but there’s no undoing the recurring damage caused by playing in Afcon 2019 the month after he ruptured an adductor tendon in the CL semi final?.

He’s entitled to go and play for his country. He can get a personal medical therapist with him if the club thinks he needs to so that he does the things that he should be doing to avoid injury. Are we winning?Comment

He shouldn’t have been playing for anyone so soon after that injury, and he’s been paying for it ever since. I’m not saying it’s fault.
I’m sure the club medical team have been trying everything possible with him to try and prevent these recurring injuries. But yeah, personal medical therapist, maybe that’ll do it

I think it's time to sell him now. He's clearly never going to get over his injury issues.
Is there a similar type of player out there we could look at?Was muComment
Alonso was about the same, maybe even less of a player than he was at LFC.
