I was a big fan of him a few years back but his game is built on mobility and the Juve games I saw this year he looked nowhere near as mobile. He is also early 30s (right)? To be honest I thought Can would be an excellent Khedeira replacement in the national side.....! Now he may end up replacing him in the club side also!Originally posted by foresterbloke View PostReally? I thought people were saying he was quite effective this season?
Oh well, get Diawara in then
Diawara looks a prospect but I’d prefer Neves - I think the year st Wolves will really stand to him.

Think he is still an effective player if he is managed right in terms of games. He is pushing toward the 40 game mark for this season with the majority being starts and I think that is just a bit too much for him at a high level.
He looked useful for spells this season for Juve, especially in some of their big CL games, but towards the latter stages of the season games seemed to catch up on him.
He would probably be a useful back up player for 20 to 25 games a season as that way he would have plenty of recovery time between the games he got, and he has loads of title and cup winning experience so would be a good older head to have around the younger players.
Given we will be competing in four competitions this coming season, a few players lke him would be useful for padding out the squad for games in the League cup, FA cup and lesser CL games.
And it would give Klopp another Swabian to chat to.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Can't see that if it's an ACL or PCL and he's had surgery he's looking at 9-12 monthsOriginally posted by Dirk07 View PostThe echo article states that the targeted return is pre-season which is great news given the rumors of 9-12 months out
If he's had both reconstructed as some on Twitter are saying then it could be even longerBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Just saying which ligament(s) were involved and whether there was surgery is **** all detail to go off in fairness. There would be vastly different recovery times depending on the exact injuries and interventions. Let's wait and see.Originally posted by Lecter View PostCan't see that if it's an ACL or PCL and he's had surgery he's looking at 9-12 months
