He's great at tackling and intercepting but I still don't think he's good enough on the ball, not quick enough, not showing for it always (could be a lack of confidence after a challenging start) and at times just way too conservative.

Other times, he does try and get the ball up front quick but these are usually long balls with mixed results.

It would be interesting to see how many times he turned the ball over yesterday.

Still think we paid £10m too much mate?

Really liked his positioning, he was getting the second balls close to United's area, often leading to a shot but better to finish an attack like that rather than getting sucker punched.

Fabinho showed exactly we bought him. Looking for forward passes all of the time, some of them penetrating and bypassing both midfields, thus keeping up the intensity, and forcing our players to make runs into dangerous areas.

That little lofted pass he played for the goal is the same weapon that Shaqiri uses so well. Nightmare to defend against and perfect for Salah and Mane to run onto and cause chaos.

It's beautiful watching them slowly sailing over hapless defenders heads too
