I still don't know the reasoning behind starting him at Palace. He opened the scoring and looked lively. Then we don't win for 5 games and he doesn't get a look in. Something has gone on there surely.

With Jota back very soon, Shaqiri fit and in form, plus Origi ahead of him, it probably makes sense. Taki gets game time, hopefully plays well and increases his value ahead of a summer move somewhere.

He doesn't seem to fit in anywhere in our system, there's no position he can play effectively. He'd be best as a support striker in a two man strikeforce

Pretty happy about this, he was absolutely woeful. I know others don't agree but on what he's shown he is one of our worst players ever. Hopefully he can get some games there and we'll see if he's any good. If not, we'll have to move on, if he surprises us then he deserves another crack.

I'd rather have Dundee or Babb any day. I've never seen a player with no redeeming technical or physical qualities. He's not even aggressive or big for nothing like some other players. I didn't see what he did in Austria, but seems clueless whenever he plays for us.

He looked impressive in the youtube compilation for the Austrian league and was very good in the CL game against us. But I think the transition from the Austrian league to this LFC squad is one or two jumps too many.

Some players adapt quickly. Some need the gradual transition. From a career perspective, it would have been better for him to move to a midtable German side or premier league side, get used to the league before trying a move to a club like us.

Whatever flaws we have this season, one thing is that we have proper ballers, technical players in all positions, who can trap and move the ball in an instant. If you are fractionally slow or not up to the mark, you stand out.
