Exactly. The youngsters must dream of learning from a master like Thiago. Bajetic for example must be pinching himself & hopefully Jude can see how he can improve his game training with the genius too.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

We brought him in to dictate play & be that pass master that team was lacking, instead he's been running around like a ****ing greyhound & was the only one actually getting stuck in when everyone else was swanning around doing sweet fa. This is his reward & was entirely inevitable.

The only surprise is it took so long and we got such a long (for him) run in the side playing almost every minute. It was always just a matter of time.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Hopefully, we will still have summat to play for when he gets back!

Club said he'd be out for four weeks, it's now double that and still no return in sight. Such a load of bollocks with these return dates, they must think we're all born yesterday...

...or in four weeks time, according to club sources.

We need three midfielders this summer.

Thiago I would keep because even a 35 games in all comps Thiago is worth having in any squad, but we sure as hell need someone else there to be taking his place/competing with him.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

He's the best midfielder, footballing-wise, we have without a shadow of a doubt. The fact he's also made of broken biscuits doesn't help matters. He's a luxury player as in 'rarely available'.

We deffo need two or three indestructible, midfield mentality monsters in the summer... if Bellingham does or doesn't arrive, there's still options like Rice, Mount, Gravenberch, Veiga, Otavio, Kokcu, Thuram, Wirtz... and others. All decent options (and significantly cheaper than 1 x Bellingham)

I think Thiago is an epic player. ****in class.

BUT....... I am not sure he suits our style of play. Our creativity and strength in recent years has been our relentless energy from wide areas. Our hard working midfield recycling the ball to our full backs and wide forwards attacking at pace. I am not so sure Thiago is right for this. Maybe if we had 2 midfielders with a lot more energy alongside him it would work better (Caicedo for instance)

I agree with that. Would have been great as an opiton alongside a "Wijnaldum"/ replacement, but more likely a plan b.

Saying that, our fullbacks aint been quite at the level we require
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Rumours are he needs an Op - I love him as a player but if he stays he can’t be counted on. 20 games a season of him would be great

Even if he does not need an op, he enters the final 12 months of his contract this summer.

So his replacement needs to come in this summer and be bedded in whilst Thiago is still around for his usual 30 or so games, give or take, in all comps.
