Yes who could forget those great spanish sides with Rivaldo and Ronaldinho creating chance after chance for Ronaldo to smash into the net.

On paper it was for sure.

I cant get over how poor the forward options are! Gone from having an absolute glut of wingers and top quality strikers, to pretty much none! Sarabia is ok, but getting on and lacks real top quality, Ferran blows hot and cold, Olmo likewise, Moreno is not International quality and Oyarzabal probably similar (but capable of some great moments here and there). Then you have Morata, who the world now know how **** he can be and why he's widely derided by Spanish fans. Thats it.

Italy have been a poor shade of themselves in the last 5 years or so, if anything you would say this Italian side is showing the form of the great old Italian teams.

Not lost in the last 33 and have conceded only 10 goals in the process.

Hardly average is it!

I think its one of the better Italian sides from recent memory.

All they really lack is a top notch striker TBH. The rest of the side is class.
