Started to load OK like the player we thought we were getting
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He's a yard quicker Thiago, great to see. So sharp and dominating games.

Great lead up work for what could have been his 2nd goal for us.

He's the best pure footballer in the league. Only De Bruyne is in that argument. Can't wait to see him next season. Fabinho next to him is an absolute must.

I think we need a ball carrying midfielder with him and Fab to really complete the trio against non top 6 teams. Ox might hang around for another season season but I'd be attempted to bin him and Keita and bring someone reliable in.

Oooooh, controversial, are you suggesting Henderson wouldn't complete the trio?

Long season and plenty of games to go round. I'd still have Henderson starting on paper and in bigger games, we haven't had a chance to see it yet but those three won't chip in enough goals/assists and leaves us too reliant on the top 3.

If we're going to evolve its the next step and has long been the plan with Fekir/Keita/AOC

What I love about Phillips and Williams is there sense of belonging in the team, not starstruck or any sense of imposter syndrome but right in the thick of it. Salahs late old trafford goal Williams with the knee slide to join Mo and Curtis. Jones in the thick of it after Alis goal.

A lot to be said of that attitude, compared to poor Andy Lonergan who was waiting for Jeremy Beadle to pop out at any moment to put him out of his misery, despite the fact he's been dead for 13 years.
