With our injury list I honestly didn't think we'd end up top of the league at christmas, what an immense display from the lads. Thiago could be absolutely crucial to us in the champs league and latter part of the season so I can see why he has been slow to return, hopefully we can get him back to some sort of match sharpness for the United game.

Really is. With covid and the various injuries we have been hit with, all it has done is bring us down to the level of only being a somewhat dominant title contender going into Xmas rather than being a runaway league leader.

Just shows how damn good a team Klopp has built if a four points clear at the top team is the underperforming version.

A fuly fit Thiago back will indeed be crucial as the low block teams will come unstuck more often than not with a player like a world class player like Thiago in our team.
