What do you reckon, will Klopp wait and hope that Jota regains form or will he be out of the door in the summer? He’s someone that we could probably sell quite easily and he doesn’t seem like a perfect fit with the other attackers that we have brought in.

I mentioned a while back that I thought jota might be the one to be moved on.
Hopefully the speculation that Diaz and family can't settle is rubbish.removing all the weak links makes us stronger

That's where I'm at too. I'd deal at £70m with Newcastle, but otherwise happy for him to stay. He needs to show he can stay fit though. Thanks very much for beingComment

He's probably the one highly valuable player we could afford to sell without it having a significant impact on the first 11.
He's best from the left but we've got other players for that position.
We bought him for £45m so I think £60m and above it market value.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

We've arguably got plenty in attack so if we had to sell Jota to bring in addition midfield cover then I can see the logic. Ideally we'd keep him and also invest but I sense we may need the additional funds if we get Bellingham and want others.

No way we should be looking to sell unless he would demand to leave.
He was injured for a while and is being eased back into things but I think he’s potentially in a best front 3.
Salah is the only one nailed on to start.
Nunez and Gakpo haven’t done enough for different reasons to be considered untouchable yet.
Diaz —- Jota —— Salah could still be best for the next couple of years.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

I feel the same way. If we lose him our attacking options are significantly diminished and I'm not sure that's something we can afford at the moment. No way we should be looking to sell unless he would demand to leave.

Nothing to suggest we will sell him bar the rumour that Newcastle are interested, but his lack of availability has to be a worry and if we got an insane offer then I think the club would at least consider it. He's best from the left where we have Diaz and Nunez also able (also Gakpo too if necessary). He's missed over 50 games for us in little over 2 years, and hasn't scored a goal in his last 26. I love him, but those are grim numbers and a huge offer would have to be tempting surely. Thanks very much for beingComment

Played 35 league games for us last season though and averaged 67 minutes per game he played. Shows its a freak thing rather than a constant stream of injuries. I think hes great.
Missing over 50 games in 2 and a half seasons doesnt sound great. But the bulk were 2 big injuries quite far apart. I guess the test is if he can get back to his levels again after this one.*Except Michael, who died.Comment
