Pair of you need to check yourselves.

We've had numerous injuries this season. In competitive games but also in training sessions, International training session, International games, and now 'meaningless' competitive games.

All the more reason not to take unnecessary risks.

            Thanks.

How is it bobbins? Players need to train, if they get injured it's just bad luck. Players get called up on international duty, so it's out of our hands. This was an opportunity to control the situation, yet we risked injury to important players. I can't fathom it given our injury situation and (like it?) the comments Klopp made to Des Kelly vis-a-vis the squad's workload.

Play the whole reserves each game, no one gets injured.

Considering the main concern this season is fatigue based muscle injuries, the sensible thing to do was rest the key players, and their muscles.

Unlucky it was a challenge that causes the injury but he and several others shouldn't have even travelled.

Out for 6-8 weeks but no surgery, then lets hope he doesnt break down and then they decide they will do the surgery after all.

                    Always the way.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Need this guy back big time.

He’s a class above anything else we can look to from the bench. If he was fit today, he’d either be starting or coming on after 55-60 mins.

Do we have a timeframe of when he's due to be back playing again?

End of Jan earliest I think.

You say that, but Shaqiri looked well off it last night as well... it'll take him time to get his "rhythm" back.
