Our eyes didn't decieve us last season though. He was solid and we kept clean sheets with him in the defence alongside a host of partnersOriginally posted by Irishnev View PostOh Nat….. not the best debut and seen some people wanting him over because he’s ‘Brave’ and puts his head in where it hurts

He did great and himself and Williams were hero’s who helped us qualify for the champions league. Our defence was ****ed but he had better players around him which helped him massively.Originally posted by Norbs View PostOur eyes didn't decieve us last season though. But
He is a basic defender and not good enough for us - I hope the weekend was an anomaly…..so he can find himself a good club where plays regularly

I saw some of it and he really struggled against a non-league player (Scott Boden) I know well, and is slow, weak and ****. CBs often struggle on debuts though, especially coming so quick after the move. I think he'll do ok there. His obvious problem is his dire lack of pace and ponderousness on the turn, but I think he does the rest of the basics well enough to cope with the Championship. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I hope so but two things he really struggled with was getting caught under the ball (I would have thought a strength of his - might’ve been very windy) and his long balls….. stick to what you are good at Nat. Although he made one cracking pass and the forward couldn’t control itOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostI saw some of it and he really struggled against a non-league player (Scott Boden) I know well, and is slow, weak and ****. He has hardly played this season. Joe Gomez looked even worse in his first game back. Matip had a complete mare last month.
First game in a new system with a cracked head.
He was pretty much faultless last season playing alongside a teenager.
Nobody was saying he was better than the other 4. But his wage differential might have contributed to Salahs new contract. In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

You are to Phillips what Buzzo is to Robertson
And not even a peep from me about his performance either
Might just be a Skrtel type debut at a new club.
Do hope he does well there though as would prevent his sale price dropping and maybe get him a move somewhere that he can play on a regular basis.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I wondering how much the head injury had affected him, he looked really out of sorts.Originally posted by Charly View PostHe has hardly played this season. Joe Gomez looked even worse in his first game back. Matip had a complete mare last month.

Not having that about Gomez and Matip though, never seen them have a game as riddled with so many errors like that. That was like a Harry Maguire compilation rolled into a single game..
