Made me look like a total dick yesterday was doubting if he can provide the same kind of game-changing ability as Alisson does, and he really kept us in the game on several occasions with some great saves. Then goes on to score the winning penalty, what a Chad

To be fair I think almost every keeper in the game would be seen as not having the same game changing ability (on such a regular basis) as Alisson.

The list of guys genuinely on the same level as Alisson is a very very short one.

One thing is obvious though, and that is that wee Caoimhin is certainly paying a lot of attention to Alisson in training and picking up a lot of his habits and traits.

In particular the way he looks to position himself is very Alisson-esque. He seems a very pro active keeper rather than a reactive one, again just like Alisson.

I loved the way he channelled his inner Teddy McCarty to pluck that one out of the air on the edge of the box

Ahh now that will be lost on about 99.9% of this site unless they google it, and even then the image of Teddy leppin' like a salmon will still be lost on the Imperialistic heathens.

I was at both finals in 1990 and my Dad has signed posters of both teams at home - he is Cork born and bred, I was born there but moved to Clare aged 7. I still went to every Cork hurling and football game with my Dad until he stopped going - then I’d go with college buddies

Weekends in Killarney/Cork for the football or Thurles/Cork fir the hurling…… them were the days. The 1990 Mark Foley 2-7 final was some day…..
